If you don’t feel you have the time or energy to become a nurse, here are reasons why you should consider being a home health aide.

Five good reasons why you should consider being a home health aide.

1.) Home health aides are in high demand. There are not enough HHAs to keep up with the demand of the aging baby boomers. You would always be able to find work somewhere!

2.) The education to become a HHA is about three weeks. Home health aides can often expect to earn as much as a practical nurse in some areas of the country. Yes, this is true. Many home health aides make as much as $20.00 dollars an hour.

3.) Once you get enough experience on the job, you could even open up your own health care agency. You would be your own boss!

4.) Covid clients have a difficult time finding people to care for them. Hazard pay is usually given to a health worker who takes on a patient with covid.

5.) Home health aides are essential workers even when there is not a pandemic going on. We are the people who keep our folks at home. We are the ones who keep them out of facilities.
